WELCOME TO COLORFUL SANTA FE, an informal collaboration of neighbors dedicated to providing you – our guests – with evocative guesthouses within a four-minute stroll of historic downtown Santa Fe.
Our homes are nestled into the wooded knoll that overlooks the historic Santa Fe Plaza. From here, the tolling of cathedral bells mingle with the scent of cedar and sage, and adobe homes blend with the land.
Inside our walls, a palette inspired by land and sky welcomes and delights:
- cerise & peach of southwest sunsets
- tangy-green of cedar & sage
- cyan and teal of turquoise gemstone.
Our homes feature congenial gathering spaces, quiet privacy, tasteful Southwest/International décor – and especially, great flexibility in accommodating 1 to 32 people.

We enjoy bringing our local and international perspectives to your stay:
Proprietor Sir Russell Betts, PhD ("Russ") has lived and worked most of his professional life in Asia, the South Pacific, and Europe addressing issues relating to social, economic and political change.
His life-partner, abstract artist Noël Bennett, has lived most of her life in the Southwest. Now a full-time painter, in years past she authored nine books on Navajo weaving, history, and culture.
We welcome you to explore our web-site; learn about us; research the art, culture, natural wonders, fiestas and pow-wows which thrive here in the heart of The Great American Southwest.
And we welcome the opportunity to host you in Colorful Santa Fe.
