CASA TIERRA (House from the Earth)

Casa Tierra is an authentic adobe with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths in a superb location 1 block north of Canyon Road and 4 ½ blocks east of the Plaza. It is located along the Santa Fe River with its shady trails and trickling water. From here the 6 minute walk to the center of town is cool and refreshing.

The walls of this 1200 square feet adobe are mudded in the ancient ways of native peoples. It is this lovely hand-applied earthen surface that lends the house its name, Casa Tierra - House from the Earth.

The authenticity of the adobe construction along with a centralized air conditioning/heating system assures year-round comfort.

Casa Tierra is tucked back off the road and entry is beneath a rare, perhaps 150 year old, Cedar of Lebanon. Fenced on three sides and nestled among mature trees, outdoor spaces are private and inviting.

Inside, a generous and comfortable living area encompasses fireplace, brick floors, a viga-beam ceiling and original museum quality art. The living room opens onto a granite topped kitchen with a six burner stove. Both bedrooms offer king-or-two-twin-bed sleeping options and each has its own bath.
